FAQ
  • Q: What is the serial communication standard for the Y02?
    A: RS422/485, 9600 bps.
  • Q: Will customized products be used as showcases or promotional case studies?
A: We will never do this without your explicit written authorization.

    1. Strict written authorization process: Any external demonstration (including on the official website, brochures, industry exhibitions, etc.) must be authorized in writing by you before or after the project begins. The authorization will clearly specify the scope and form of the demonstration.

    2. "Strictly Confidential" by Default: In our internal system, all customized projects are in the "Confidential" status by default. Except for the core project team, no one has the right to access any specific technical details, and no information may be used for publicity without prior authorized consent.
  • Q: What should be checked if the upper computer does not display parameter information for the Y02?
A: Please ensure the wiring follows the communication interface definitions in the user manual and check for loose connections on the transmit and receive ends.
  • Q: How can preset positions be saved on the Y02?
A: Before setting preset positions, ensure that code values of zoom- to zoom+ on the host computer increase progressively and the corresponding image is from wide field of view(WFOV) to narrow field of view(NFOV). Similarly, the code values of "focus-" to "focus+" should also increase. Once confirmed, adjust the image based on motor feedback values, then proceed with the preset configuration.
  • Q: What are the autofocus parameters C1 and C2 in the Y02?
A: C1 and C2 are motor offset parameters for autofocus in the forward and reverse directions. You can ensure the accuracy of autofocus during calibration via adjusting C1 and C2 parameters.
  • Q: How to configure the parfocal setting on the Y03?
A: On the Parfocal Setting interface, perform uniform focal length segmentation calibration to ensure each focal segment achieves the clearest imaging at the same temperature.
  • Q: What is the temperature calibration function on the Y03?
A: Based on the Y02, the Y03 integrates temperature sensor to achieve active athermalization for thermal imaging lenses.
  • What is an AR coating?
Anti-reflective coating (AR) is a surface optical coating that increases transmittance by reducing light reflection. In complex optical systems, it can improve contrast by reducing scattered light in the system.

Many coatings include transparent film structures with different refractive indices. The thickness of the film determines the wavelength of the reflected light that it acts on. When light is reflected twice on the AR coating, it will interfere with the original reflected light, thereby weakening the reflected light. According to the conservation of energy, the energy of light does not change. Therefore, when the reflected light decreases, the transmitted light increases. This is the principle of AR coating. Generally, when choosing an AR coating, you need to determine the wavelength, such as infrared, visible and ultraviolet.
